GM-confirmed (2026-10-19): ‘Smoky Gray Crystal Orb’ (S3, taken from the Strahd statue) and ‘Crystal Orb’ (S4, Chrystandar’s new arcane focus) are the same orb. Confirmed by the GM (2026-10-19).
Description
- S3: A mysterious crystalline sphere held by the statue of Strahd in the summoning chamber. Kaelis used a spectral hand to remove it from the statue, triggering the appearance of shadows. Upon inspection, it showed no obvious magical properties, though the party speculated Strahd might be able to see through it.
- S4: A magical orb found among the items recovered from Durst Manor, claimed by Chrystandar to serve as his new arcane focus.
